12:00-18:00|Fair
Artist alley
Visit the stalls of trans+ artists and creators showcasing their artwork in a wide variety of formats. Support Slovenia’s trans+ art scene and, in exchange for a voluntary donation, take home a painting, a zine, a pair of earrings, or even a poem.
Crochet Couch
For everyone who loves getting crafty, the arts & crafts couch is returning to transCON, stocked with everything you need for crocheting and making friendship bracelets. Crochet yourself a winter hat, make a friendship bracelet for your bestie, and enjoy some creative time in queer company.
Make-up and tarot reading
Your favourite diva Akira Ve will be ready to work her magic on your face, while fortune-teller Nim will help you make sense of your destiny through a card reading.
Queer info point
Visit the queer info point at transCON and discover the various programmes offered by LGBTIQ+ organisations in Slovenia. From youth activities to cultural and sports programmes, as well as counselling and support services. And there’s always plenty of great merch to be found, too.
Pop-up clothing exchange
If you have an interesting crop top, a scarf, a pair of Docs, or another item of clothing that has shared some of its life with you, bring it to the queer pop-up thrift swap and take something new home. Alongside clothes, shoes, carabiners, and accessories, binders will also be available.
Bar & quiet space
The bar will be open on the day of transCON, offering a selection of hot and refreshing drinks. A small area next to the bar will also be set as a quiet zone — a little corner for anyone who would like to take a break from the activities. The quiet zone will be equipped with headphones and a blanket.
14:00-17:00|Zine-making workshop of vegan and vegetarian recipes
Food is fuel, but it can also be art. We’ll bring together your favourite simple vegetarian and vegan recipes in a zine that will save your friend from going hungry for new food ideas next time they cook. We’ll start putting the zine together at transCON and publish it at the end of the month.
17:00-18:00|Artist’ talk
Just before the convention wraps up, some of the artists from the stalls will step up to the microphone to share with us their artistic practice, latest project, or perhaps a mysterious third thing

14:00–15:00 | Lecture: Presentation of the Research Findings — Everyday Life of Transgender People in Slovenia 2026
The lecture will present the findings of the research study Everyday Life of Transgender People in Slovenia 2026 and compare them with the findings of the first study, conducted in 2019. Through key data, we will explore the experiences of transgender people in different areas of life, including coming out and acceptance, healthcare, legal gender recognition, mental health, and experiences of discrimination.
In addition to presenting the findings, we will reflect on what has changed in recent years, which challenges remain, and what the collected data tell us about the situation of transgender people in Slovenia today. What can this research help us understand, demonstrate, and demand in the future?
Speaker:
- Nuka Horvat, Director of the TransAkcija Institute
15:15–16:15 | Discussion: On Proving Oneself, Administrative Violence, and Institutional Exhaustion
Administrative violence is one of the tools institutions use to create and maintain barriers for marginalised communities.
The speakers will reflect from different perspectives on when an official procedure becomes a form of violence, who has to prove their identity, needs, or entitlement to rights, and what assumptions bureaucracy makes about people who find themselves navigating it.
Who has the time, money, internet access, and language skills to successfully complete forms, file appeals, or access information? Who does the invisible work that makes procedures succeed in the first place — and what happens to those who lack support?
They will bring together the experiences of different communities, consider how to identify shared mechanisms of exclusion, and explore how to develop new forms of solidarity and collective action.
Guests:
- To be announced!
16:30–18:00 | A Series of Short Lectures: On Strategies, Alliances, and What Comes Next
The closing session of the conference will explore different theories and practices of self-organisation, mutual support, and collective action through three short lectures. The speakers will raise questions about how we build more accessible forms of action, create our own networks of support and knowledge, and develop political strategies outside established institutional frameworks.
Rather than seeking a single answer, we will focus on concrete practices, their possibilities and limitations, and how different communities can learn from one another. What can we build ourselves, what can we achieve together, and what comes next?

Transfeminist Demonstration | 20 November 2026 | 18:00–19:00 | Ljubljana City Centre
In light of the rise in violence against gender minorities, the sensationalisation of trans+ identities in the media and cultural sphere, and the political exploitation of trans+ and queer communities as convenient scapegoats for scoring political points, a transfeminist demonstration will be held in central Ljubljana on 20 November 2026.
The demonstration aims to demand that decision-makers stop turning their backs on vulnerable groups and instead protect them, bring together feminists of all perspectives and areas of activism, and remind the public that solidarity is a source of strength and community is where the future lies.
We will gather at 18:00, tentatively at Prešeren Square. Banners with slogans and symbols, drums, megaphones, and other forms of resistance in practice are welcome.
Banner-Making Workshop | 17 November 2025 | 18:00–21:00 | Masarykova 24, YHD
In preparation for the transfeminist demonstration, a banner-making workshop will take place on 17 November 2025 at Masarykova 24, in the premises of the YHD association (the same entrance as Club Tiffany and Monokel), where we will come together as a community and create together.

Klubovanje: Nesting|5 December 2026|23:00-5:00| Monokel Club
The gender diversity festival will conclude on 5 December 2026 at Monokel with a closing party from the Klobovanje series of club events for marginalised genders, organised by the TransAkcija Institute.
If the festival reflects on how we (birds) connect, organise, and hold together, the nest is a place where these bonds are woven and strengthened. Monokel is one of our nests — a place where we find our people, rest from the world, gather strength, and create space for different futures. Through trans+ DJ sets, we will celebrate community, music, dance, love, and connection. Our nest is a place from which we take flight and to which we can return. Strengthened by the party, we fly further.
